We worked out the bugs in the Bowl Game Pick 'Em so go ahead and place your bets. First game is tonight!

It's getting pushed down the page, but I want to make sure everyone reads the Rocky Top Roundtable with Joel. Interesting read on how the star crossed paths of Penn State and Tennessee have come to pass in the Outback Bowl.

Black Shoe Diaries is getting some love on the internet these days. Peter at BON has nominated your humble blogger for the Sports Fans Don't Cry Award as part of the College Football Blogger Awards. When I saw this award I thought this might be the one I had a shot at, but there are some pretty good bloggers that cover some pretty crappy teams out there. I'm just happy to be nominated.

Filed in the Double Oh Crap department, Penn State linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden, the guy who has developed talent such as Paul Posluszny, Dan Connor, Tim Shaw, Sean Lee, and recruited great linebackers for next year like Chris Colasanti, Andrew Dailey, and Nate Stupar, is interviewing for the head coaching job at Central Michigan.

And finally from the Are You Kidding Me? file, Anthony Morelli is getting death threats and goes postal on his high school football coach. So you want to be a Penn State quarterback? Apparently this is what you have to go through. Zack Mills and Michael Robinson went through similar criticism. I'm amazed that some Penn State fans can take football so seriously and be so stupid. Need we be reminded?
