Game Story

Lions and Bears. OH MY! It seems the six day layoff did the team well. They came out flat with five turnovers in the first five minutes. But they turned it on after that to have their most complete game of the season.

Times are busy this weekend with the holidays and all, so that's all you get. Regular hardcore blogging should return around Tuesday or Wednesday.

Breaking It Down

Great all around team effort. Claxton had 21 points. Cornley had 10. Ben Luber returned after missing the last two games, but he didn't score any points in 18 minutes of play.

The Lions were greatly aided by the Bears shooting 25% from the field and 53% from the free throw line which helped overcome 17 Lion turnovers.

The Lions will take a few days off for the holidays before wrapping up their 2006 non-conference schedule with VMI on Saturday December 30 at 4 PM in the Jordan Center.
