SMQ Gives No Love to the Lions

Sunday Morning Quarterback put out his Big Ten Preview over the weekend. Not surprisingly, he's anticipating the Lions to go 8-4 or 7-5 this year and finish fifth in the Big Ten. This is nothing new for SMQ.

He quotes the standard knocks on the Nittany Lions this year: New quarterback, new offensive line, new secondary, new defensive line, losing record four out of the last six years, blah, blah, blah.

I've gone through this so many times I'm tired of it. I'm not going to retort SMQ. I'm at the point I'm just chomping at the bit to get into some football and see what the Lions are made of. Maybe I'm drinking the Kool-Aide, but I really think come the end of November the Lions are going to once again be telling people "We told you so."
