Well, maybe Ohio State fans were right. Maybe Paul Posluszny wasn't the best linebacker in college football last season. Maybe it was Dan Connor.
The Big Ten has named Dan Connor the Defensive Player of the Week.
Resistance is futile
Connor led all players in the Akron game with 13 tackles. He also had 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and forced a fumble. I can think of two plays in particular where Connor just blew up the ball carrier. If offenses keep running away from Posluszny, Connor is going to have a huge year.
