PSU v. Indiana

Lets face the facts. This is not going to be our year. Anthony Morelli is not good. Physically he has the tools, but mentally he just doesnt. At times he makes me pine for the likes of Matt Seneca. Also, everybody needs to stop calling Derrick Williams a "playmaker". Its been 2 1/2 years and he has made 3 memorable plays. Two of them were punt returns against awful teams. I cant belive how dissapointing Justin King has been either. He needs to stop thinking about the draft and concentrate on defense. All in all, a win is a win, but this team should be undefeated right now.

I'm not saying I disagree with you completely...

...but I think you could've picked a better time to bash Morelli, considering he's played pretty well the past 3 games.

yea

i agree with you, Morelli has been ok. Regardless of anyone's thoughts on the D's we have played, he has been efficient. I truly believe we can beat this OSU team. In fact we could've won last year, if Morelli could've been more efficient. We had 95 yards to drive and we couldn't run Hunt all the way down and it came down to him and unfortunately he threw a pick. Then another 1. But we had truly could've taken that game. So let me get this straight to the person writing this post, you think this OSU team is better than last year's?

Morelli is Good

He just isnt great. He has done solid work most of the season, and I think hes a good college QB. Pro bound, or championship caliber? No. But he is a pretty good QB who should finish his career at Penn State with relative success.

Morelli

I'll get into this in my roundup, but I thought Morelli looked really good this week. He didn't panic when they went down early. And in the fourth quarter when Indiana had the defense on the ropes he engineered a clutch drive the length of the field for a touchdown to put it away.

The BIG 10 isn't as bad as everybody thinks and the rest of the country isn't as good as everybody thinks they are. I think the BIG 10 (Penn State) will be fine come bowl season.

Yeah but

we may also have another year where Ohio State and Michigan get destroyed in their bowl games along with Wisconsin. Depending on the matchups we could come out of this season looking really bad as a conference.

When the two of the three marquee teams in your conference get blown out by the top dogs in the Pac-10 and SEC, it looks bad. If UM and OSU could have taken care of business i don;t think it would have looked as bad.
