Losing to #1

So we lost to the #1 team in the land. I'm not surprised nor should you be. Our offense has been bad all year. I didnt look at the stats, but they must have had 6or7 three and outs. The defense seemingly was on the field forever. The loss of Odrick was definetly noticed. Justin King once again failed to live up to expectations as did Derrick Williams(the playmaker?) I dont understand some of the defensive strategy. Why play 7 or 8 yards off a reciever when they need 4 for a first down? It boggles my mind. Justin King is fast, put him up on the recievers. A.J. Wallace finally broke one. He is good. We need to see more of him. Mo evans didnt do much, but he was up against one tough line. I have full confidence in him. Once again Anthony Morelli dissapoints us all. I dont relish in ripping a college kid, but there comes a time when enough is enough.

...had one 3 and out all game, and that came on a 10 yard penalty where they still moved the ball 15 yards.

PSU

scored on their 1st possesion then the next 4 series they punted. I'm with you we should see MORE of Wallace, hes gont great speed and he made a great open field tackle on C.Wells...probably the bright spot of the defense. On this 1 guys, I have to bite my words. I screamed OSU is overrated every year and for once this team looked good to me. They had athletic wideouts, a good line, determined rbs, and their qb managed the game just fine. There defense took that 1st TD drive personal and didnt allow another TD form the offense. I respect them and am curious to see how they match up with the other powers of the country. As for PSU, it jsut doesn't seem like the guys want it as bad at times. I'm tired of being the 3rd team in the big ten anymore...

The PSU offense been given more time with the football, I think they were moving it well enough to score 17-21 points, which in traditional PSU-OSU matchups, should have been enough to win.

The defense wasn't on the field because the offense couln't do anything, they were on the field because they couldnt stop the Buckeyes on 3rd down.

Whatever. People like you aren't going to change what you think. The defense could allow 70 points and the loss would still be Morelli and JoePa's fault.
