Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

It's A Boy!!!

The newest Nittany Lion was born on Thursday morning at 8:21 AM. Alexander James weighed a healthy 7 lbs. 15 oz. and measured 21 inches in length. The talent scouts are projecting him at quarterback or tight end. He's already seeing interest from a few schools. We're telling them academics are our highest priority.

Mom and baby are doing fine, though Dad is a little tired and hungry. Maybe a little cranky too. Blogging may be light for a few days.

When we stood at childhood's gate...

And I'm glad to have provided my services in a time of need.  Seriously, take the rest of the week off!

Congratulations to the entire family!
Don't plan on getting a lot of sleep for the next six weeks.

Other than that, though, fatherhood is all good and it only gets better.

Go 'Dawgs!

I like the name choice. I am happy for you. You have your work ahead of you. As for the hair, I remember you having some at one point. Tell you wife and first son conratulation also.

And now the Great Uncle,if there is such a thing, runs around the office showing off the starting QB for the 2026 season. The question I have is Will JoePA still be coaching?

Settle it on the field!

I can't wait for Jay Paterno to totally screw up the kid's throwing mechanics.  You know, if Jay's still the head coach in 2025.

Mazel Tov! (for variety's sake)
Congratulations! To follow on T. Kyle's comment, you can't get any more tired than you will be after 6 weeks, but it gets more and more fun...
