Is it me or....

does Bucky have an unbalanced head?

Predicting Penn State's Offensive Scripts since 2005!

by Kunza on Oct 11, 2008 8:02 AM EDT   0 recs

It could be you.

Have you had any coffee yet, Kunza?

I’m on cup one. I’ll return after 24 more ounces, when I’m able to evaluate with more certainty.

But yes – it’s very possible the Buckster is asymetrical in the extreme.

Yaaawn……

Wow

Kunza’s right.

Bucky is not only twisted, that dude absolutely paved him to the turf.

Why do I get the feeling our Lion would not only have cold-cocked that guy as soon as he got within an arms length, but also broken out into some ‘Napolean Dynamite’-style move bustin’, just to bullet-point that jerk’s humiliation?

Poor Badger...

Should have went with the left jab. And he has to remember to protect himself at all times. super excited for the game, I’ll be back on at 5 after work and ready to go!

I was out in the trenches, which enables me to paint such a powerful picture, like Apocalypse Now.-Cormega

Great Video...

i like seeing that overgrown rodent get planted.

Chris Fowler says...

He expects Quarless & Shuler to play (in his weekly thursday espn.com column). Having either of them would be big.

Its Royster’s time to shine this week.

Let's

Go STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna be some drunk a$$ people tonight…will be one of them.

by SweepTheLeg on Oct 11, 2008 8:56 AM EDT   0 recs

This will be my first game watching from home...

and I plan to contribute some drunken ridiculousness to the comments tonight!

My goal is to beat wisconsin….by drinking more beers than their points. If they score 23, I’ll drink 24 beers! For this reason alone, I hope our defense locks it down!

I bleed Blue and White.

Somehow beanbag toss just isn't as much fun

when it’s in my 10’x10’ living room…doesn’t have the same atmosphere as the cow pastures of central PA.

I bleed Blue and White.

For your sake

I hope this doesn’t somehow turn into a shootout.

John Madden told me 90% of the game was half-mental...

Big Ten Mascots

are so freakin lame. I love that the Lion is the Lion. He’s far and away the baddest ass of the lot. Bucky, Brutus, Pete, he’d make freakin mince of any of em.

Buckeye

Lamest mascot ever. Nothing instills fear in me more than non-edible tree fruit. So retarded…

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

by TheMightyErik on Oct 11, 2008 4:48 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yes, but what if they fall off the tree and hit you on the head?

And if you happen to be looking up at the time and they cause blindness…then, slightly terrifying, no?

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 4:51 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

True...

and I guess they can make ya awful sick if you eat em… makes the green wave and all those other lame mascots cool by comparison

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

by TheMightyErik on Oct 11, 2008 5:07 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

That'd be kind of cool

to see the Gameday crew in the stadium like that.

by PizzaDelivery on Oct 11, 2008 11:09 AM EDT   0 recs

they'd

have to find someplace to set up first. that place is a fuster cluck… although they could always set up between the stadium and frat-houses, that would be interesting

what game to watch now

still 8 hours til game time and need to find something to watch. Should I watch Texas vs OU or should I watch ILL vs Minn

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 12:04 PM EDT   0 recs

Red River

all the way. Illinois and Minnesota are two teams we no longer care about.

Should be a fun day

Friends of ours are throwing an Oktober fest party this afternoon. We’ll be drinking his home brews. Should be a good time. Then we got the game tonight.

sounds like a great day

of general debauchery… enjoy chief

For the glory

by lionalum05 on Oct 11, 2008 12:16 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yeah it should be a great day

Who do we want to win the Texas vs OKLA game?

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 12:12 PM EDT   0 recs

My thoughts

We want Texas to win. They have a much harder schedule going forward meaning there is a better chance they will get knocked off later. The perfect scenario would be Texas beats Oklahoma, Missouri beats Texas, and then Oklahoma beats Missouri in the Big XII champ game.

by BSD on Oct 11, 2008 12:17 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Or

Texas lose today then Texas beats Missouri and then Missouri beats Oklahoma.

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 12:18 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Agreed....

What a mess… and now with Michy going into a total nosedive and Illinois losing to Minny our conference looks worse than ever…

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

by TheMightyErik on Oct 11, 2008 4:52 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

I know that hurts our SOS if Mich. were to lose, but who cares. It’s fun to watch them humiliate themselves.

by Tailgate Shogun on Oct 11, 2008 12:24 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Obligatory Michigan sucks post...

Michigan sucks!

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 1:22 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yes.

But, jeez….they’re THISCLOSE to putting it all together.

Or so I’ve been told.

I will be sorely tempted to kick someone’s dog if we lose to those turds.

I cannot even imagine it...

Dick Rod and company falling apart up there is mildly amusing. Goes to show he may not be the one-man savior that so many people make head coaches out to be. Just look at Skip Holtz after his 3-0 start and where is he now? Greg Schiano? Yeah… I am no hurry to see Joe go

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

by TheMightyErik on Oct 11, 2008 4:54 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yeah, Spanier's wet dream

of JoePa shitting the bed while Schiano and Golden run the table has been foiled.

Instead, Sanier seems impotent with a prsotate infection.

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 5:01 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Joe haters

Everyone was so ready to see him go and he’s having a nice private laugh now. I hope we run the table and the man retires as an immortal. Screw the record if Bobby hangs on for more years. Like the Samford wins, they will be empty, fluff victories

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

8 pm in Budapest, so feel free to get on it. The local Hungarians just LOVE Penn State. Almost as much as their palinka.

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 1:20 PM EDT   0 recs

Rutgers losing (again) 10-0 at halftime

and they only have 2 yards rushing. ESPN anylist just said Teel couldn’t even throw the ball into the ocean if he tried…

I’t s a good thing they stole all of our recruits…those guys suck!

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 1:27 PM EDT   0 recs

how long

until the decent ones they have this year start jumping ship?

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 1:31 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

They exodus probably starts in an hour and a half.

Instead of making the trip back they stop in State College and refuse to get back on the bus.

But do we really want Rutgers' sloppy 2nds?

I guess as long as they wash up before….

What the F**K is wrong with Illinois

They look like shit against Minnesota. Is Minn really that good, or has Illinois just given up hope on the rest of the season?

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 2:10 PM EDT   0 recs

Ted Roof

I dont know what he did but I just read from Adam Rittenberg he retooled all of the Minn D. They went from dead last in YPG given up to something ridiculous. Either that or its the Juice hangover from trading places with Major Wright last week @ Mich

Speaking of hangovers...

I am dreading tomorrow. Something tells me tonight is going to be a shit-show. Shit-show are fun, but the day after sucks.

And if PSU wins, it might be the first ever diarrhea-show. 2 girls, 1 cup!

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 2:24 PM EDT   0 recs

yeah

games like this always result in a long day of drinking . . . back to Penn Stateopoly

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 2:30 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Wow to many beers already

I wasn’t going to start til the game but why wait.

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 2:30 PM EDT   0 recs

If Texas beats OU, does OU drop below PSU (assuming we win)

Or do they stay top 5 because they lost to the #5 team in the country in a close game?

I bleed Blue and White.

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 2:34 PM EDT   0 recs

drop 5-7 spots

You’re held to a higher standard as a Top 5 team. Alabama fell 2 spots for beating Kentucky by 3.

by blogue20 on Oct 11, 2008 2:36 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

but

The teams we beat are not looking all that good anymore. Look at ILL today.

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 2:39 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

We won't get knocked

if Illinois loses. It doesn’t really matter that much. If we lost to them then thats one thing, but its no big deal. Illinois is the only team that is hurt by their play.

by blogue20 on Oct 11, 2008 2:41 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Wow, the refs

are really screwing OU. Two terrible calls in a row gives Texas the lead. Not that I mind much, but it sucks to see a team possibly lose because of terrible officiating.

Oh OhOhOh Oh Oh!

by doctadas on Oct 11, 2008 2:36 PM EDT   0 recs

yeah

it reminds me of something I’ve seen happen in the Big 10 before, who were those games between again?

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 2:38 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Oh, you must be talking about the classic

Indiana – Minnesota game in 87….right? I can’t think of any others!

by Horse N Buggy on Oct 11, 2008 2:40 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs
