What are the odds were 6-0 and up 24-7 at halftime against Wisconsin?

pretty good if you were to ask me....

we smoked wisconsin last year…i expected us to be a lot better this year without AM

by bbeck223 on Oct 11, 2008 9:35 PM EDT up reply actions

Wow

Over 500 posts the first half. Is that a record?

Keep it in perspective

by JuniataMan on Oct 11, 2008 9:27 PM EDT reply actions

24-7 is nice...

but 45-7 is better. Keep pouring it on. I don’t need a Brad Lidge-style nailbiter/heart attach in the second half.

by MainLion on Oct 11, 2008 9:30 PM EDT reply actions

I hope they keep it open

I can’t wait to see if they can turn it on after the 1/2 and score on this kickoff

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 9:30 PM EDT up reply actions

I want to see Devlin tossing TD passes

as a substitute when the game is long over

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 9:32 PM EDT up reply actions

exactly, I want to see blood

I’m tired of hearing about how we got lucky against Wisky last year

and May can try to explain how we still suck

by PSiriUs on Oct 11, 2008 9:31 PM EDT up reply actions

i wish we played ohio state this week or the next...

pryor just looks totally lost as a starting quarterback….let’s hope his learning curve is more than three or four games

by bbeck223 on Oct 11, 2008 9:37 PM EDT reply actions

OSU has MSU

Michigan state looks good. They go to MSU and it should be a good game for them. We get Michigan at home we should win (revenge is sweet). I just can’t wait for 2 weeks I am in columbus and will be downtown with all my PSU stuff on

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 9:38 PM EDT up reply actions

sometimes

it can take a season or they never learn.

I would cite a certain former PSU QB as evidence of the later

Second Half Fellas

Second half.

Nobody says the M word till this one is in the books.

You hear?

by jesse. on Oct 11, 2008 9:40 PM EDT up reply actions

I'll be disappointed if...

they get anything less than 7 out of it. Pour it on, and cruise. I don’t want to see P.J. get his wheels turning or Evridge with an ounce of confidence.

by MainLion on Oct 11, 2008 9:44 PM EDT up reply actions

Back in the day, that’d mean a good gutsy decision. Today, pulling an Andy Reid means running a QB sneak from the 4.

by jetskijoe on Oct 11, 2008 9:44 PM EDT up reply actions

Thanks, pslion

And I don’t even want to hear about how much Auburn sucks this year. You go to the Jr. leagues for an offensive coordinator and a quarterback, and you get the junior leagues.

Mike and I are in Katy

by PSUWifey on Oct 11, 2008 10:28 PM EDT up reply actions

Not SRO...

As long as you two aren’t all about SRO sports bar near 610, it’s all good. That place is a warzone after nightfall.

My wife and I have been watching all the PSU games from our house, but are looking for a PSU alumni crowd that isn’t all about watching the game at SRO.

by cjapsu on Oct 11, 2008 10:31 PM EDT up reply actions

We watch from home

pretty much no matter what so Mike can blog the game. We’ve thought about joining the alumni group though…SRO is bad?

by PSUWifey on Oct 11, 2008 10:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Alumni Group

Alumni group is alright, but a little old for my wife and I (we’re class of ’05).

SRO is great for day games, but it gets REAL shady after dark and my wife won’t let me go watch any games there.

by cjapsu on Oct 11, 2008 10:45 PM EDT up reply actions

Hehehe

Then we’re probably too old for you too…class of 97.

by PSUWifey on Oct 11, 2008 10:50 PM EDT up reply actions

Not quite

I’m talking class of ’70.

All of the younger people attend inconsistently and aren’t part of the alumni association (and they ALL work for oil companies, which is really amusing in conversation). Coming from Cleveland, Oh, I’m shocked the alumni association isn’t younger – up in Ohio we were mostly class of ’95 and younger, with a few from the ’80s and ’70s.

I have the Facebook

button thing (little drunk, can’t remember what it’s called) that has Ann Arbor is a whore. I was afraid that my students would see it, so I didn’t put it on my bulletin board.

I remember exactly where we were when that happened...

in Nashville at my cousin’s wedding following it on a cellphone…

I wonder how Shaw did today

I hope he’s wondering what it would have been like to be a Nittany Lion

I can feel Blackledge holding

back everything he can from being too PSU positive. .

So...

This is the PSU team:
that can’t win on the road..
that can’t win in a dominating way…
that runs a boring offense…
who’s coach, the game has pass him by……
…I think not

Sad thing is...

I hate Jay Paterno but this forces me to give him credit. This offense is amazing.

Score a TD

Than jump offsides on the kick.

Think we JoePa just taught Belima a lesson.

Fight on State (GO!)
Fight on State (GO!)
Strike your gait and win, (LET’S GO STATE!)
Victory we predict for thee
We’re ever true to you, dear old White and Blue.
Onward State, (GO!)
Onward State, (GO!)
Roar, Lions, roar: (LET’S GO STATE!)
We’ll hit that line, roll up the score,
Fight on to victory ever more,
Fight on, on, on, on, on, Fight on, on, Penn State! (S-T-A-T-E GO! STATE!)

This is amazing...

I did not think Penn State would even get close to having this big a blow out. Very nice game played by the Lions.

Yikes

I haven’t seen that video is 7 years. That’s a freshman year video – but I always sing the “badger badger badger” refrain to piss off my wife.
