CNNSI's Second Half Predictions

Here's an interesting outlook on the second half of the season CNNSI . Looks like most expect PSU to be in the title, but thanks to that Sweater Vest/ Big 10 stigma no one expects PSU to win. Not surprising to me, but we have to be one of the most balanced teams in the nation on offense and defense. I know we haven't beaten the "Big Boys" but we did just crush Wisc @ their house and I remember being in the Beav when we beat Oregon State 45-14 whom then beat USC.

Just some food for thought.

It’s almost like they just wrote these 3 months ago and filled in Penn State’s name this week. Ridiculous. Anyone who talks about our lines hasn’t watch PSU this season.

JoePa has the winningest record in bowl history, 5 undefeated seasons. He has only had his ‘perfect season’ spoiled twice — albeit to Alabama… I have no idea why it’s such a longshot that he could do it again, considering he’s already done it more then any other coach alive.

Wasn't one of those

in 1985 when he lost to Oklahoma for the title, not Alabama. With the other of course being in 78.

Well

Alabama spoiled our perfect season in ’82. We won the national championship, but lost to Alabama in the regular season 41-21.

See, I just thought that winning a title made a season perfect, meaning not needing to be undefeated to have a “perfect” season. I didn’t really stop to think about it too much. If you can see what I mean through my poor explanation skills.
