College Pick 'Em Update

PSU4ever11 relinquishes the overall lead after suffering a dismal 20 point week. That makes Ackiewicz our overall leader even though he suffered a very average 35 point week. But he made some bold picks like Fresno State over UCLA as his highest confidence pick so he earned it.

The high score for the week goes to RUSHRUSHRUSH who only nailed 7-out-of-10 of the picks, but he nailed all of his six highest confidence picks. That's how the game is won, people.

This week ESPN offers us another set of challenging games to predict. Here is the lineup.

Buggy, you may have blown your load with the Golden Shower / piss poor joke (fantastic, btw). I’ll thank you in advance if you picked all these tho. I’m with you on UNC; have you seen those cats play yet? My gawd, they’ve got freaks at every position. Dumb freaks, mind you, but then, that’s Butch Davis. They gonna stomp on Uconn. But jeesh, those other three? They’re all my high confidence picks—in the other direction. I went with Nebraska last week, but if the blackshirts gave up all that to Tyrod Taylor, Bo Pelini’s gonna lose his aorta through the side of his neck when Chase Daniel gets done with them. And how’s Vandy gonna score, can you tell me that? It may be 3-2 again, but Auburn won’t give up more pts than it needs. Oh, and Kstate sucks.

Take my picks with a grain of salt

Last time I check my standing, I was like 10th from the bottom. The only people I think I am beating are those who signed up but haven’t made a pick all season.

I see K-state playing well, T-tech with too many INTs
Vandy 6 – Auburn 5
NC is good – UConn is a basketball school
Nebraska over Mizz – Must be the pills talking. Who knows!

I have the lowest score out of anybody who actually made picks every week so far.

There are even a few ahead of me who missed a week of picks that have a higher score than I do.

One of these three will happen on Saturday

K-State over Texas Tech
Colorado over Texas
Nebraska over Mizzou

Personally, I think its Colorado over Texas.

All 3 are on the road (thats the key) and have a tendency to pull an inexplicable choke. I’d add Oklahoma (see:2007 @ Colorado), but Baylor probably couldn’t beat a dead horse with a stick.
