Penn State, which also has remaining games with Iowa, Indiana and Michigan State, hasn't won in Columbus in 30 years.
Quarterback Daryll Clark, who is from Youngstown, hopes to put an end to that losing streak against the Buckeyes.
"It's everything that you dream for when you come to a Big Ten school and you're from Ohio," he said. "And you're going down into the horseshoe and that's one of the most hostile places to play in.
"With everything working and the weapons we have and the coaches and all the other players we have we are very confident that we can go in there and weather the storm and actually get a win."

I didn't post this right
but anyway, I think Clark is gonna be really up for this game. I hope he plays in Ohio like Big Ben does.
“we are very confident” I love it!!
Either way this game will the feature the two best young QBs in the Big Ten. The comparison articles are already getting posted. Here’s one:
Pryor or Clark? Let debate begin

Pryor said “Everyone thinks I’m overrated. Wait and see. The time will come, and you’ll find out.”
Oh yeah TP? We shall see.
It’s gonna be an incredible game!

I love ridiculous "streaks" like that
granted we haven’t won in columbus since we joined the Big 10 fifteen years ago, but we didn’t play them for 15 years before that…and when we DID play them @ Columbus we beat them. In fact we had a 5-1 record @ Columbus before we joined the Big 10.

Clark
Let’s just get this straight: T Pryor is just another ego, another big mouth who talks better than he plays. I don’t care if he wins 3 Heismans, I NEVER want a player like that at PSU.
That’s success with honor, not success with a free ’Vette and $$$.

Can you imagine
I know we’re kind of scrood if we don’t get a quality QB recruit this year, but what if we had Clark, Devlin, and Pryor on the same team? Would Devlin transfer? Would Clark be as focused in the offseason with a redshirt unknown commodity? Would the urbane Pryor tire of living next to cows, chickens, and pigs that run unfettered through State College?
I think he’d be an unnecessary distraction.

We don't need anyone for the next two years
If the QB battle was as close as it sounded for awhile, we might have two pretty good QBs right now. But Clark should be here next year and I’m very impressed with him so far this season. He’s played well through the small dose of adversity he’s seen. His talent and presence are immense.
What I’m getting at is I agree with you. TP wouldn’t stand for being benched for two years and he probably wants to jump ship to the NFL by his senior year, if not sooner. All of that distraction for probably one good year?
I’m not saying I’m happy that he went to OSU, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Except we have to play him now.
