So Many Stories; JoePa montage

Please, eds, if you guys are snipping videos froms last night's game, give us the JoePa montage set to The Story.  I teared up every time ESPN showed it (once during GameDay, once before the game, and once after).  I've got to have it in mpeg or wmv.  Even my wife (recent recruit to the fan ranks) said it gave her goose bumps.  We need this clip for posterity's sake - for the love of Joe!

Thanks for the fanpost! Please do not post any content from a premium site that requires a subscription. Also, if you just want to share a link consider using fanshots instead. Thanks.

That shot of him in the pressbox

There was one shot of him with his palm held up to the glass towards the fans really shook me up. Man it tears me up thinking he won’t be on the sideline or in the pressbox someday.

Same here...

I was fine til they showed him in the box with his hand against the glass. That’s when the water works started! What a great montage.

I got goosebumps big time from that

Just thinking about how many lives that guy has shaped. There have been so many young guys coming in there that could go a lot of different directions…

Which is why absolutely no one – not one single person – should want him to retire.

Coaching college football isn’t a vain or selfish act. The guy’s a teacher. If your favorite teacher decided “you know what? I like teaching. I can still do it. I’m going to do it as long as I can,” and was still able to – would it make any sense, at all, to say “you should stop”? He’s doing what he loves, and he’s still making the world a better place. If all of us were doing that at 81, instead of hacking at a golf ball, think of how much better the world would be.

Why has no one posted the video of JoePA when ESPN asked him last week, “what would it take for him to stay at Paternoville, 3 or 4 nights?” His answer was, “it depends on what she looks like”. I fell off my chair laughing!

Thanks!

And thanks to whoever cut it for youtube (it wasn’t there yesterday morning!). I noticed the second link has only 339 views so far. Gotta take this thing viral…..firing up the email forwarder.
