Rivals Article

What a f*cking d-bag! Seriously why does Ohio State have to ruin it for us. We run the table we deserve it. Stop being to f*cking Bias against the Big Ten. God I have asshats like that.

Abso-freaking-lutely. Bunch of jackasses.

How many games has Texas played where they didn’t have a single turnover or accepted penalty?

How is it possible that people who write about football for a living have absolutely no clue how to recognize a good team or a good football game?

I agree 100%

That guy is a d-bag and a hater. Nice of him to try and take our moment away from us.

It's so much easier...

to go with what you think the general consensus is rather than watch the game objectively and formulate your own opinion. That requires a lot of thought and the ability to back up your claims. Ya know, stuff that writers generally get paid for while rarely having to produce.

After the game

They have the Gameday desk setup and such. All you could hear were PSU fans next to it.
They were shouting some absolutely hilarious stuff.
I heard a “Not so fast” chant when Corso was talking about Florida.
Also, after a while, I heard a “Please don’t mace us” chant. Atleast I think I heard it. I can imagine the troopers were about to because Gameday was still trying to talk.

Another fun chant

In the third quarter of the game against Wisconsin a few weeks back, their entire student section got an “underrated” chant going for PSU. It was one of the most impressive displays of self-deprecation I’ve ever seen. Somewhat classy, in a weird, weird way.

Actually

I recall thinking the same thing…until I learned they were chanting “Let’s get wasted”

by The JuggerNitt on Oct 27, 2008 7:52 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

oh

and I thought they were chanting “overrated” or something like that, since it was the same sing-songy rhythm

Then I thought they were saying something like “Let’s get naked” but it turned out to be “let’s get wasted”

Hah

That’s just as good.

We lost

3 points in the AP poll and gain one point (and a 1st place vote) in the Coaches Poll.

Alabama

won 29-9 and pretty much controlled the whole game against Tennessee, a team that lost to UCLA and now stands at 3-5 (1-4). Bama definitely held serve but I’m not sure how we lost points in the AP….

Great Rubin Quote

The game was tied 3-3 at halftime. Ohio State led 6-3 in the fourth quarter when Pryor was trying to sneak on third-and-1 from midfield. In came Rubin, one of those muckers and grinders, to knock the ball free.

“Breaststroke, free style,” Rubin said of his technique, "Let’s see Phelps do that one.

You find out life's this game of inches. And so is football.

Iowa doesn't have many cows.

I lived there for 2-1/2 years. Now if it said ‘pigs and pig shit’ or ‘turkeys and turkey shit’ they’d be onto something…

There is a tractor in the parking lot, West Virginia license EIEIO. Your lights are on.

ah, I see you are from the pigs and turkey district

see, what you wanna do is head down south on that dirt trail for about an hour or 2, and hang left. Eventually you’ll see a few barns. That’s when you know you’ve reached the cow district. I wouldn’t go much past there, though, as after that you get to the sheep district, and the people that live there are just downright creepy

/Actually never been to the state of Iowa
//Making my first (and quite possibly only) trip there in 2 weeks!

by the way

what is the status of legitimacy of Iowa as a state? Is it fake, like Ohio?
