800
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't our next win #800. I haven't heard anything about the OSU win being 799, but coming into this season I'm pretty sure we needed 10 to get there.
If we win at Iowa, we will be the 6th team to do so. Here's to reaching 800 before our good friends from the south, Bama, who are only a few wins behind us.

That should say: “6th team to reach 800.”

Doesn’t look to be updated for 2008 records…think we sit at 799.

I wonder if Oklahoma's Sugar Bowl forfeit...
…has anything to do with the confusion? In the NCAA’s eyes we won, but PSU refused to count the win.

So it will be like daylight savings time at the bars
They’ll do last call at 1:45…but then it reaches 2:00, the clocks go back an hour, and you get to celebrate another hour at the bar!

Calculating
JoePa’s had about 485 wins as a head or assistant coach, 798 wins all-time. That means 3/5 of all wins since 1887 have featured JoePa on the sidelines or coaches box.

More Calculating
Heading into the game with Iowa, Paterno’s career record as Head Coach is 381-125-3. Which means he would need 36 victories to have half of Penn State’s victories ALL TIME.
