From the ESPN Big Ten Blog: "Also, Paterno will have his injured hip examined by doctors this week, most likely Wednesday. He hopes to receive any necessary treatment, including surgery, immediately after the season so he can 'get on the road and go out and recruit.' In other words, Paterno has no plans to step down after the season."
