Possible Point Spreads for BCS Title Game
Colin Cowherd has the COO of Las Vegas Sports Consultants on every week and yesterday they discussed possible point spreads for the BSC Championship Game.
He mentioned on several occassions that Penn State's long layoff before the title game would account for 1.5 - 2 points against them in just about every matchup. So I took that as "there a 4 point underdog against Texas but would only be a 2.5 point dog if it wasn't for the layoff."
They seem to like Texas and USC the most and would have them favored against anyone they play... with USC being favored over Texas.

Interesting
I was honestly thinking we’d be at least a 10 point dog to Texas, if anything, for the amount of disrespect for the Big Ten in general and the hoohaw over Texas Schmexas. Its also funny that our largest underdog spread would be Florida, (ok, also tied with USC). Tebowwwwwwwww rofl rofl.
Odds makers != ESPN Pundits
Ask one of those dipshits over at ESPN to put money on the game and you can bet they’re backing down from their picks. Ask Corso if he’s got 10 G’s to back up that buckeye mask and he’ll probably go all soft like his permanently flacid member.
Odds makers actually watch the games, tally the statistics, and make educated guesses based on reality. ESPN pundits have an agenda they are driving and they waste nothing in forcing it down our throats.
Hell some might argue the pundits’ jobs are to skew the public’s opinion so the bookies can take advantage of public perception.
I concur.

The spreads are fascinating
Nice find, I thought for sure that PSU would be a bigger dog against Texas.
And thanks to the rest of you for permanently ruining GameDay for me.
