My blood is a boilin
This crazy talk about a 1-loss Florida jumping an undefeated PSU into the MNC game is starting to really irk me. The easy answer to this is that Florida eliminated themselves by losing to Ole Miss at home. It doesn't matter how tough their schedule or conference is, they lost to a clearly inferior oppenent at home.
So my request to all you PSU football junkies out there is that whenever you post something somewhere, please make reference to this so we can help squash this incredibly stupid possibility.

So True
There is no way they would jump us if we finished undefeated. It would be a disgrace if it dd, but it wont.
"I've gotto go with PSU. Ill make that pick every year till I die, and eventually it's gonna happen. Hear me now."- LL Cool J
Won't Happen...
The only person I’ve heard say this is idiot Colin Cowherd.
Referencing a one loss Florida team wherever you post something will certainly not make the situation go away.
Believe it or not, none of us have any power over what happens.
If Penn State goes undefeated they won’t get jumped by a 1 loss team…it just simply won’t happen. The Big Ten might be down, but its not the WAC. Its not the MWC.
The Paterno story will be far too inticing to voters.
Let it all play out folks, just let it all play out.
I think
that the SEC should have one big year-end tournament, and that the rest of the football world should just stand back and watch in awe.
At the end of that tourny...
they should also be awarded the Lombardi Trophy, the Stanley Cup, and maybe even The Breeder’s Cup, just for the hell of it

Florida Georgia..........
These are good football teams, but they are getting love because of what people THOUGHT the conference was going to be like this year and not what it is. Let’s look at both teams to date:
UF – Hawaii, Miami (meh), UT (stinks), Ole Miss (lost), Arkansas (Terrible) LSU (Totally Over rated), Kentucky, then UGA, Vandy, South Carolina, the Citadel (for what amounts to their third bye week of the season (had two real ones already)), and FSU.
UGA – Georiga Southern, Central Michigan, South Carolina, ASU, Alabama (alright), UT (see above), Vandy, LSU (see above), UF, then Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia Tech.
Both schedules preseason, loaded with promise…..in reality………….not real impressive. Good thing both teams had two bye weeks in the season. I thought SEC played the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road 12 weeks straight.

Came across this piece of trash article on MSNBC
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/27466334/ I guess anyone can write for a newspaper or a news web site these days.
I wish I didn't just read that article
It’s Halloween night, I’m coming down off of my sugar high with the help of a few beers and decide to enjoy some BSD.
Now my blood’s a-boilin’ too! He compares Penn State football to a horror movie, that his greatest fear is Penn State playing in the MNC game. What a jerk!! Who the hell do all these writers think they are bashing Penn State to no end. I swear, I’m never ever gonna stop laughing after we win it all and I tell everyone “I told you so!”
It Won't Matter........
people always have their own opinion about a team. If we win, few people will say we are the best team in the country. Mike Schmidt characterized this best the other day when talking on ESPN radio about the Phillies winning the WS……he said sometimes teams win it because they catch lightening in a bottle and not because they are the best team in the country. He said that isn’t the case with the Phillies. They are clearly the best team in the country. That’s what will happen with us……..people are convinced (and I believe due mostly to recruiting rankings) that we aren’t “talented” enought to be considered the best team in the country. Couple that with what most around the country think of Big 10 football in general, and you have the sentiments outlined in the article above. Its no different than it was 30 years ago when PSU was going undfeated and not winning National Titles. No respect for the schedule despite how the team performed against the big programs like Bama, Texas, Miami, etc.
