I would like

to see better, and more even representation in the blogpoll. Perhaps now that it is on cbssports it will receive more attention, and thus participation. Right now there are only like 52 schools participating, with a bunch of programs submitting multiple “blog” ballots. I know you don’t have any say in how it works, but this is the only venue I really have for commenting on the blogpoll.

It would perhaps be interesting if each “school” had a vote, and all the blogs for each school were averaged in their polls, so that certain schools wouldn’t be weighted over others.

Yeah

I know Brian strives to do this, but unfortunately right now it’s just not practical. There just aren’t many UConn or Fresno State blogs out there. The big schools tend to have more bloggers so they are more heavily represented. I know if you asked Brian he would like the poll to be as diverse as possible. But at the same time I think he wants to limit participation to around 60 blogs or so just to keep it manageable.
