Green to transfer from USC

This kid is kicking himself daily for not going to PSU.

Anyone think we should let him walk on?  I think we could always use good athletes, even if he doesn't play RB.  Who knows, maybe a good LB?  I know he burned PSU about 2 years ago, but kids make mistakes and if he has his head on right, might be a good pick up for the Blue and White.

Thoughts?

Not a chance in hell

Green had plenty of chances to come to Penn State. Obviously he doesn’t look at who USC was recruiting at the time of his commitment. They had 6…SIX! HS All-American RBs commit during a two year period.

We are fine with RBs and LBs so there is no room for him on the roster. He wouldn’t play here even if he did come.

Don't think so

Says he’s going home to be with his sick grandmother. Not sure how going to PSU would be a better situation.

I don’t see any point in bringing him in. We’re loaded at running back now and we have Curtis Dukes coming in next year. He would have to sit out a year and only have two years of eligibility left. Not worth a scholarship in my opinion.

It would have been great to get him at the time, but he chose USC and the ship has sailed at this point. If he wanted to walk on I’m sure we would take him, but a player of his talent could go get a free education and more playing time somewhere else.

exactly

the kids we have showed enough faith in this program to make the life choice of coming to psu. others didn’t. others chose to go to shady organizations with football darwinism and payouts.

we are nobody’s backup plan.

ill let him

walk-on, but he has to show he deserves to be on the team and no chance at immediate scholarship because he had his chance.

i would also work him out at d-back or wide receiver, lord knows that position will be getting thin in the future
