Umm, that's weird
I think we posted that at almost the same time.

Haha
That was definately weird. I looked at it after I published and thought, “wtf, I didn’t title it that”. Great minds think alike, eh?

Haha
You’d have to have a great mind for that to happen wouldn’t you.

Yes, true
Great minds do think alike…but if that’s true, than I guess the opposite is true too. We’ll go with the former rather than the latter in this instance.

Its the former,
Between us 2 are 533 comments. They’re has to be at least a couple good ones in there. And now we’ve successfully converted a good fanshot into a personal conversation

I'm no expert, but here's my take
Jay’s got clout, for the first time in his career. In the first 6 or so games he’s basically playing a video game offense — he can call whatever he wants and it works brilliantly — he looks like a genius.
Then we begin to face some defenses that actually show up for all 4 quarters; in bad weather; on the road. But Jay, in all his wisdom, is thinking he can just run whatever play he wants like it’s NCAAF 2008. At Iowa, 30 degrees, 30 mph wind? Throw that puppy.
A good offensive mind would see the talent we have and just anihilate even a good defense. Let a talented RB like Royster have the ball at least 25 times a game. Use our speed on the edges in the redzone. Let the run game draw in the LB and safeties, then hit them with the passing game. I’m not an expert, but this is very very fundamental playcalling.
I just think that Jay got a lot of clout from earlier this season, and now Joe and Galen let him run whatever he wants. The problem is Jay is a natural born idiot, who’s got maybe the most balanced and talented team we’ve ever had.
I am so disappointed because I know that there’s at least 5 losses in the last 3 seasons that could have been avoided with more rational play-calling.
