Thank god we have this arbitrary rivalry shoved down our throats, otherwise Sparty would just be one more meaningless Big-10 matchup (aside from this year where we’re actually battling them to see who gets to be co-Big-10 champs with O$U…though at least we get the tiebreaker for the Rose Bowl…neenerneenerneeener)

This is it!
For years we have been looking for the new Pitt for a rival. Truly, there is no real replacement, so maybe we ought to rethink our goals. Clearly Army-Navy is the best rivalry in college football (and arguably in all of sports), so I hereby nominate Penn State-Michigan State as the “Best Contrived Rivalry in College Football”.
It’s all about branding, folks…
Maybe if the trophy was cooler I could get really jacked up about this "rivalry"

I say we win the ugly thing
Then put it in an unlocked cabinet in the lasch building and the nut-job who broke in there and busted up the place this year can make a second trip and bust up this not hot “trophy”.
