Saved By Zorro!
[Looks like Kevin actually wrote something, but screw it, I'm leaving this post up for the bell-ringer video.]
A mysterious, masked man on horseback sweeps through the smoldering craphole that is Lubbock, Texas, and steals a victory from the Texas Longhorns. It was not Paul Maguire.
Consider this a Sunday open thread, and ring that bell!

What kind of moron
votes a team that lost to Ole Miss #1 over not one, not two, but THREE BCS-conference unbeatens, two of whom have clearly equal or better wins (and between the Oregon State and Ohio State wins, PSU has two that combined are at least close)?
I don’t think there’s even a case for putting Florida as the top 1-loss team; Texas beat Oklahoma, Missouri, and Oklahoma State in back-to-back-to-back weeks, and the loss was a last-second play by a team that’s currently unbeaten (as opposed to a last-second play by a team that’s 5-4).
I’d be thankful that the AP is no longer part of the BCS, but the coaches aren’t much better.
Oh my god
They really have to change the position of that bell. How about hanging it vertically at about 8 feet. That guy made the crazy fat black guy from last night look good.
I don't know, Mello Yello is pretty awful. What's the worst that could happen?
What it comes down to is
there is not a conspiracy against Penn State but against Joe Paterno. Since the beginning of the Grand Experiment, there has been a negative biased exerecised against Paterno. Of course the only way to even things for those that do not agree with what Paterno stands for is to take it out on his football team. 5 undefeated seasons, 2 National Championships? Only 2 National Championships because there haven’t been 5 opportunities to play for them.
Penn State is not doing anything different then the other undefeated teams. It doesn’t matter what sports talk you listen to ot watch, they only mention Penn State being left out.
