I'd say "may the better team win"
but I don’t mean that.
Here’s to Michigan-Ohio State being the undercard today. I think we can all drink to that.

Not since Wisconsin 05 have I missed a game of significance. However, I have an excuse. Bethel Park is playing for the AAAA WPIAL title today at Heinz Field. Go Hawks!

They put the meaningless games on early so that we can watch some real football later.
You know your game is meaningless when it’s not even one of TEN possible pick ’em choices…

I need to vent.
Has anyone seen this goddamn Vizio commercial where LaDanian Tomlinson and the Vizio AAU squad is tearing apart a team with dark blue jerseys and white helmets? It is ridiculous and offensive and very preachy about poor tackling fundamentals which everyone knows we are solid on. And a huge stud linebacker WITH THE NUMBER THIRTY ONE absolutely whiffing on game-deciding goal line stand? All I’ve learned from this commercial is that Vizio employs a ton of bitter Ohio State fans.
I hope we tear apart Michigan State.

Man
If you are worried about the words “Ohio State” showing up next to “Penn State” on some Wikipedia page, you’re missing the point. No rational Ohio State fan thinks they have a better team than us this year. This has been a very disappointing autumn in Columbus, and there is a real chance they are going to completely whiff on the BCS.

There’s a simple way to look at this. If you need only to win your game to smell roses, you’re the conference champ. If you need to win your game AND watch the scoreboard in order to smell roses, you’re NOT the conference champ.
Any Buckeye fan that buys “2008 B10 Championship” memorabilia is a complete joke.

no really, I guess tOSU. If tOSU loses, that pretty much destroys State’s higest-quality win of the year. I know we’re past that whole style points thing, but you still have to feel good about yourself, you know? Plus as much as I loathe the sweater-vest, I can’t see a situation where I root for DickRod. Yo Wazzup!
Here’s my pregame update.
Spent the morning waiting at the furniture warehouse while they dug out the pub table and bar stools I ordered for my game room. Just have to get my stain glass pool table lamp mounted, a 42" LCD HDTV, a black leather Lay-Z-Boy, the Neon Yeungling sign, and the Yuengling Dogs sitting at the bar painting and I’ll be set.
I see Michigan is stinking it up, so I’m watching the beginning of the ND-Syracuse game until kickoff. First two possessions the Syracuse defense totally owned JIMMAH. If they don’t get it turned around it’s going to be a long day for Charlie.

Homer ND Announcers...
…apparently define “good coverage” as having two DB’s approximately 5 yards away from the WR. Oh boy yeah, The Emu really had to thread the needle on that one!!

I was worried there
1st and goal at the 10 is usually death for us. I wish Norwood would have run to the sideline. Probably would have scored instead of letting the safety catch him. Worked out though on a nice play by DC. Nice rollout and throw. That’s the old Daryll.
What was up with the run up the gut on 2nd and goal at the 10?
