"So, Buckeye fans, prepare to complain. Because odds are, we're going to get screwed and have to watch our team play in the Capital One Bowl on New Year's day."

Only in Columbus is losing two games and going to the Capital One bowl "getting screwed".

It’s not like they got destroyed by USC, then went on to lose at home to PSU for the first time in 30 years. I just don’t understand what kind of ridiculous system allows for a 2-loss team to be ranked below the two teams they lost to! What a world!

wow...really...just...wow

“we are gonna get screwed because they are going to let teams with less losses than us into the BCS games…some of those are teams who dared to beat us!!”

They got screwed, and I am sure they will lose the game.

They are getting as bad as ND, just take care of the bowl game so the B10 can earn some respect.

We just needed a couple players, a couple people to buy in to the fact and we were able to do it. --A.Q. Shipley

That ship has sailed

I’ve felt stupid enough for rooting for Ohio State two years in a row. I don’t care about conference respect anymore, I just want them to lose. I want Pryor sulking on the sideline again. I just can’t stomache them winning and claiming they deserve next year’s assured top 5 preseason ranking, deserve their “shared title”, or anything else they dream up.

For Christ Sake

They think they won the league!

It looks like they are like borderline delusional at this point.

Oh Mike, you left out the best line!

So, Buckeye fans, prepare to complain. Because odds are, we’re going to get screwed and have to watch our team play in the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s day. At least we can take solace in the fact that we’ll have a pretty good shot to take out an SEC team along the way.

Yeah, right. In fact, that’s the worst part of us not getting into the national championship because we’re going to have to play a “weaker conference” and they’re probably going to get smoked by Alabama, geez.

OSU Fans

I wonder if some of them are still dreaming up scenarios where they can make it to the national championship game.

It would be funny

For the last four years they have known nothing but Big Ten Titles and BCS Bowl games. It would be interesting to see how they would handle just a three or four loss season. They would probably implode and do something stupid like fire the coaching staff. This is how dynasties end.

That would be priceless

Some OSU posters were already starting to complain about Tressel after the PSU loss this year, citing his record in big games. Another “down year” for them and the media gets involved and it is inevitable before it gains steam in Ohio.
