Elections and Football??
What the heck is going on? Who cares what the candidates would want to change about sports? Can they just write an executive order to change the BCS to a playoff system or improve detection of and prevent the use of performance enhancing drugs? Is it just me, or does this not have ANY applicability to college/professional sports? Am I the only one sitting here, going, "huh?"
I'm not posting this in favor of or against either candidate, because this is a sports blog and not a political blog. I just wanted to comment on it and see if anyone else had the same thoughts.

A couple of things.
1. Free TV exposure is free TV exposure, especially on the night before an election.
2. It provides excellent pandering opportunities!

I thought I got excited about the games.
I don't know, Mello Yello is pretty awful. What's the worst that could happen?
