Penn St=Boston Red Sox
Well, it happened again. Another PSU choke job against a Big 10 opponent with an undefeated season on the line. Why am I not shocked? This team is turning into the Boston Red Sox. It is pathetic. I can't believe they didn't beat that team at least 30-7. That should have been a cakewalk. That Iowa team had no weapons outside of the RB, and we were running the ball at will. I don't get it. How is this the ending? Please explain it to me. I don't like to use the word, but does this team have a curse on it? Right now, NFL Films is doing an America's Game special called The Missing Rings about great teams that didn't win the SB, like the 81 Chargers and the 98 Vikings and the 90 Bills. They should do a Missing Rings episode about Penn State. It would take several hours, because there has been a lot of them. I think another one popped up tonight.

boo hoo you
instead of sitting in the dark wishing for a 4 hour long special on PSU football not winning championships, go buy a 6 pack and watch a video of the 2005/94 teams and you will be reminded of how lucky you are to be a Penn State Fan.

good call
I would go out on a limb to say that winning the BCS has to be about the hardest thing in sports to win the the voting and all that crap with no playoff. We’ve gotten close and we will win one again
If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

I concur!
I spent my first two years of college watching the Zach Mills Experience in all of its glory. Starting a season 9-0 is nothing to shake a stick at. Did I have dreams of the MNC? Sure, and they’ll start up again come next season. For now, we have 3 games left to prove to the college football world, and ourselves, why we deserve to be mentioned at the top.

JoePaPa
JoePaPa, Penn St. fans are lucky, but there comes a time when you have to get over the hump. 05 was a terrific season, don’t get me wrong, but I still remember what happened in Michigan, not the rest of the games. Now, I will say this: My frustration is a by-product of this terrible Mickey Mouse organization called College Football. If it was a real sport, we could win out, be 11-1, Big Ten champs, and go to a playoff. I could live with that. But, it isn’t. That is the reality. And you have to be perfect. With the team we have, that wasn’t too much to ask this year in the Big Ten.

I never ever want to see that equality again
as I am a Penn State/Yankee Fan.
But all that “Sweet Caroline” crap at the home games is probably playing too much with karma

Penn State = Red Sox??
I would gladly take 2 championships in 5 years. Not too bad if you ask me.
This just proves how difficult it is to go undefeated, even if in a weak Big Ten.
Texas Tech deserves to be #1 and if they are not, it is a complete shame. The Big 12 is much better than the SEC and TT just beat two TOP 9 teams whereas Bama beat a Georgia and LSU teams that now combine for 5 losses. An easy choice if you ask me.
WE ARE.......PENN STATE!

lol I was thinking that as well
Perhaps the better comparison would be “Red Sox between 1918 and 2003”. I wouldn’t mind being the 2004 or 2007 Red Sox, though (though ugh, I am a Yankee fan, and saying that just brought a little vomit up in my mouth)

Thankfully
the Penn State fanbase isn’t full of a bunch of self-centered, self-loathing, obnoxious d-bags, so I don’t think that you can equate the Nittany Lions with the Red Sox. Thankfully.
I wouldn't trust old rooster me neither.
