Scrap
In all seriousness; does anyone know the status of Tom B? I realize he had considered the Syracuse job; so is he actively looking? Any inside info? I'm a huge fan of defense and I subscribe to to the idea that "defense wins championships". I really think that Scrap has done a pretty good job in maintaining a great defense. I'd really hate to lose him. Now with JoePa's new "contract" (congrats JoePa!); I'm curious as to what Scrap will do. Anyway, I'd appreciate any info.
This is a great site. I'd like to post more and I have this little nuisance known as work I have to do. So its off to work I go. Thanks and have a great holiday season (whatever holiday you celebrate!).

Happy festivus
It’s a festival for the rest of us.
I suspect Tom is content where he is after all this time, I would be surprised if he did anything but stayed at PSU.

we're bypassing the airing of grievances?

simply the funniest Seinfeld ever, in my opinion.

Whoa
Bad lighting on the porch.
On topic, to some degree, it stuns me how low the opinion is of Bradley in the dining hall the team eats at. I mean, I hardly judge ones coaching ability by that, but those people love just about anyone, and to a man, they have nothing positive to say about Bradley. You know, FWIW.

Wait, what?
Did someone do a survey of Pollock Dining Commons about Bradley or something? Where are you getting this? Not saying you’re wrong, just I’ve never heard this before and it seems kind of odd. Unless you’re kidding, in which case I look kind of stupid right now.

good job airing your grievances
My family does not let me watch enough football, I mean its one day per week for several months of the year and I am lucky to make it through the whole PSU game. I feel better now.

see Jerry Sandusky for this answer...
Although I believe he is content now….this situation could turn into the one we had with Sandusky. I dont care what anyone says, but he was waiting for Joe to step down so he could have his turn. And when he found out Joe was gonna ride this coaching thing out until he physically could not, he decided to move on to his charity.
I feel like the same may happen to Tom, except he’ll move on to a head coaching job on the east coast.

I fear you are correct
I liked Sandusky; he was good. I think that Bradley is a lot like him. I hope he sticks around. I also like the idea of PSU “guys” taking over; thus, I don’t like the idea of an “outsider” coming in. However, who the hell am I! I have absolutely zero influence on this issue. We’ll have to wait and see I guess.
True story: When younger, I, along with a few others, used to celebrate “beer drinkers holiday” (no fancy names, no gimmicks, honestly I can’t recall what we called it, just drinking beer). We would cut down a tree and decorate it with “chains” made of beer can tabs (yes, I remember those!). Occasionally, we would place a shot glass or wine cork on the tree. Usually an empty can on the tree top (if we got that far). Anyway, why am I telling you this; I do not know. Just go out and enjoy the holidays; and most importantly, be safe.
Joe, what play should we call? Let's try running it up the middle!

When I think about bradley
I can’t help but think this guy pulls down $500K/yr, is single, no kids, lives in State College – I would not be surprised if the guy had $10 million in the bank.
Maybe he’s not dying to be a head coach? I think Bradley is happy to wait it out and see what happens. Either he becomes the head coach, or he doesn’t – the guy grew up in Johnstown and became a millionaire coaching football at Penn State.

Sounds about right to me
For all the reasons you cite above denotes “a patient and loyal man!”
This known, it is a bit hard to digest that waiting another 1, 2 or 3 years (after DEVOTING 30) would be “difficult” for him to do…
