Poinsettia Bowl Open Thread?
Just tuned in for the start of the second half. 13-7 BSU, and I'm hearing the soothing sounds of mark may and lou holtz, held together by the best scotch tape job ever, in reese davis. Hey, scotch sounds like a good idea! I gotta figure out where this game is. Thundersticks suck. I can hear their tinny rattle--too bad it's not loud enough to drown out holtz. Teams look well-matched, so far.
And I love 'em all, I love 'em crazily
And they love me back - that's why they stay with me
So if you havin girl problems, I'll be there for you son
Got 99 problems and a xxxxx ain't one

decent game thus far...
tcus defense started taking over in the second half… if it wasnt for a boise state pick, itd at least be tied…
did you see the sign some fans had… public enemy #1 and a big old picture of mark may… it was pretty funny

Worst...
Clock Management ever.
I thought PSU’s inability to run down the play clock on the final drive against Iowa was really bad.
And then I watched TCU snap the ball with 15-20 seconds left on multiple occassions. Hell, they even snapped in with 9 seconds left on the 3rd down play that ended up leaving Boise State with 6 seconds and a ‘chance’.
What are these coaching staffs doing that they don’t notice such stupidity? My only thought, because it was really that BAD, was that perhaps the stadium play clock and ESPN play clock weren’t insync.
Note to college football: in the new era of the 40 second play clock….5 minutes is about 8 plays. Thats two first downs and you’re kneeling. Figure it out and execute.

Wooo Boise lost
Let’s just say I’m not a fan.
-Blue field (seriously, what the eff?) with blue uniforms
-Constantly doing trick plays and annoying crap (which seemed to get blown up by TCU, thank god)
-Their coach is a doosh (plus he ranked us really, really low in the final poll)
Okay, so none of that really justifies hatred, but they seriously annoy me for some reason.
Another thing that bothered me (which probably started all the hate) was earlier this year when they blatantly laid two 2 Oregon Duck players… so much that one dude got kicked out of the game. I think I heard they are the most penalized team… which makes sense. That shit is just uncalled for. What a lack of respect for the sport.

Oh god
I meant “laid out 2 Oregon Duck players”
In my defense, “two” is just “out” backwards -“u” +"w"
=p

playoffs
the only good thing with a boise state win would be they would be undefeated, hopefully utah will beat bama, then there would have still been 2 undefeated teams after everything was played out, and neither one of them would have been the national champs… but i still wanted tcu to win because boise bothers me as well…
