Joe Paterno: Master Of Improv
The 82-year-old Paterno hasn't lost his sharp wit. After wrapping up a question-answer session with reporters, he politely informed television camera operators they were allowed to shoot only the first 15 minutes of practice.
One cameraman told Paterno that he would comply because, after all, he was a Michigan State alum - the implication being that somebody familiar with the Big Ten Conference knows that when Paterno speaks, you listen.
"Well, in that case you can stay," Paterno quipped, "because you probably don't know what's going on."

Lol, 2 time outs may have gotten under his skin.
We just needed a couple players, a couple people to buy in to the fact and we were able to do it. --A.Q. Shipley

LOL! JoePa still has a quick, sharp mind
Hopefully the Sparty cameraman took it like the joke it obviously was.

Awesome
He may drive us up a wall sometimes, but we’re really going to miss the old man when he’s gone.

Depends
How much ass are you willing to kiss to separate yourself from the “website mob”?

seriously, no one takes shots at people like Paterno
“joe how’d you hurt the leg”
“i don’t know. I kicked something. I had a picture of you and I kicked it. ok?”
obviously not verbatim but one of Joe’s all time greatest exchanges.

The Paterno/Jones love affair
The other classic line was when Joe entered the press conference to kick off spring practice this year. He sees David Jones in the front row and nods, “How you been? I haven’t felt anything in my back lately.”
Of course, Joe went on later in the press conference to say he never reads the newspapers. Yeah right.

Afterwards
The Spartan cameraman called two consecutive timeouts to keep the PSU players on the field.
