87' Fiesta Bowl

The 87' Fiesta bowl will be on espn classic at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The 83' Sugar bowl comes on at 11 o'clock this morning.

       Enjoy

Well i sure hope Penn State can win this game against Georgia, you know they have this running back named Hershel Walker he looks like he is the fastest man alive. I don't see how we will ever stop him.

Miami, well they have the Heisman winning quarterback in Vinny Testevarde, and one of the fastest defenses in the entire universe.

These should both be good games and i hope our super duper slow eastern team can pull off a couple of upsets.

'09 Rose Bowl

Will be on ABC on Thursday afternoon, January 1st.

I sure hope Penn State can win the game against USC. You know they have this incredible defense…they look like the fastest men alive. I don’t see how anyone will ever score against them.

And their offense? Well, they have Pac-10 first teamer Mark Sanchez (nice showing Pac-10 QBs), plus a stable of highly touted running backs…some of the fastest men in the entire universe. Plus they have an attitude…a confidence. They walk off the plane…I mean…into the Rose Bowl, as if it’s their home stadium…what having played their last 4 bowl games there.

It should be a good game…but like the’83 Sugar and ‘87 Fiesta…I just don’t think our boring offense and slow and bulky defense can pull off the upset.

Very Familiar

lol, yeah all of this media talk sure sounds familiar. I have been hearing this same talk since the first PSU game i saw in 1979, i was 8, and none of it has ever changed. Except for the word boring which i have been hearing for a while now.

As i have read here before everybody loves the “Playstation” form of college football now a days.

Me myself i find these high scoring games very boring. I love smashmouth defense and low scoring games. I want to see a “boring” rose bowl, with a low scoring game. 10-6 PSU would be perfect.

Have fun watching the boring games. I might have to go and rake some leaves to keep my excitment level up.
