Texas over Florida?
I would love nothing more than to see the BCS cause more outrage in College Football.
With that being said, does anyone see Texas moving into the #2 spot and leaving Florida on the outside looking in?
'Bama is now out.... Okla move to #1, Texas move to #2 and Florida move to #3....
I know everyone keeps talking about Florida being in the BCS Championship game but I don't think it's so cut and dr

Florida lost to Ole Miss
Texas lost to TT.
Should be a no brainer, but it’s the BCS. Voters will manipulate what they see fit.
To add to that...
Texas lost on the road while Florida lost at home…
Its Florida vs. Oklahoma.
Its not going to be anything else.
Its cut, its dry. Its Gators. Its Sooners.
They have what they wanted

Rematch
No way Texas bumps Florida. No matter how “fair” the BCS system is, there’s no way anyone would let there be a rematch for the NC game
Not so fast my friends
I won’t say its going to happen, but its alot more possible than everyone thinks that Florida would get stuck at 3 when the BCS is released tonight and Texas jumps to #2. The kicker will be the human polls. Florida might have to be 2 spots ahead of Texas in the Coaches and Harris polls to overcome the fact that the BCS computer loves Texas and had Florida 7th this previous week. Unfortunately for Florida, Oklahoma is likely going to jump to #1 and leave Florida at #2. What I want to see is whether Alabama falls to #4 and Texas stays at #3, or vice versa. If Texas is 3 in both polls and Florida is #2, I think is scarily possible that Texas ends up at #2 in the BCS because of the disparity in the computer. The computer still recognizes that Texas’ only loss was on the road to the #8 team in the country while Florida lost at home to an 8-4 team. Texas got a slight boost yesterday because they now have beaten the #1 team in the country. Florida helped their cause (obviously) by beating #1 Alabama, but I’m just not sure if that was enough for Florida to get the .04 they needed to get past Texas. Its going to be extremely close.
how does the computer view florida's win over Alabama?
Do they view it as a win over the number 1 team? Or over the number 5 team (or whatever they fall to)
th problem is
that Florida went ahead too much in the coaches poll.
Texas would have to be ahead in the Harris poll, and that will not happen.
