CFN's early preview-did Pete Fiutak's editor take the day off?
CFN has an early preview of their expected BCS matchups.
I count at least 3 factual errors-when we last played USC, when we last played them in a bowl, and the score of the Ohio State game. Plus at least 2 blatant grammatcical errors (
"while the Big Ten won the bowl since a 2000 Wisconsin victory over Stanford"
"Penn State led the Big Ten in defense big a long shot").
It took me 5 minutes to check those facts and see those errors. They really get paid for this?

Yeah i read this mess this morning
and immediately realized he probably hasn’t slept since Wednesday or something. He couldn’t even figure out when the last time we played USC was and it was only 8 years ago. Ouch. Not to mention the 1995 game he listed never existed, we beat them twice at home (’93 and ’94), we beat them 24-7 in the 1996 kickoff classic, and they beat us in the 2000 kickoff classic. Ouch.
We did lead the Big Ten in defense but I’m not sure what he calls a long shot. That was definitely off the hip without bothering to look it up.
He was right about Wisconsin, although grammar used was 3rd grade level

Find and Replace
These hacks probably use find and replace, and then just fire the articles out. They just write a generic article months in advance, or based on the assumed B10 champ (Ohio State) and then find and replace when the details become apparent.

It is Fox, that's why it's fair and balanced.
Penn State blew its chance with a 24-23 loss at Iowa, while USC’s loss to Oregon State kept it out of the BCS Championship hunt.
Like it’s our fault we lost, but their loss wasn’t their fault.

Penn State beat the Beavers 45-14
I guess 32 is a blasting, but 31 isn’t.
