How much disdain must a team have for an opponent to keep laying out such prime bulletin board material? It's as if we won't even be a variable in the game equation.

Every time I read this stuff, I have to smile, and remember how MIami simply couldn't shut up pre-game, then couldn't put up in-game.

It's like deja vu for the second time.

Reading through the comments, most of the USC fans take umbrage with what the blogger wrote. There are even a couple (CanadianTrojan sticks in my mind) that actually respect PSU and expect to see a great game.

I only read the comments that show on the first page, and most seem to agree that USC will, in the words of one guy, “beat Penn State like a redheaded stepchild”.

No, I’m not going to scroll thru 300+ comments searching for some that show PSU a modicum of respect. Besides, it’s the article, and the quotes therein, that end up on the locker room wall.

Keep ’em coming, I say.

Does anyone else notice..

that this feels like ’86 all over again. Now I was barely out of diapers at that point but from watching the game on ESPN Classic and hearing friends and family talk about it this feels just like it. No one giving the Nits a chance. Everyone writing this one up as a loss from the media and just basically saying we are going to get steam rolled…Here to history repeating itself!

ugh.... I'm preaching to the choir but I gotta rant..

USC = consistently overrated.. they haven’t played a descent defense this year.. All they do is whine and cry about not being in the NC game with no justification. “played a bad quarter and a half of football” Didn’t OSU keep U$C scoreless for the first half of the game, and beat them after a full 4 qtr game? Where was their ‘overpowering’ offense? Prima donna sissy whiners.
