The Rose Bowl will be the 9th largest crowd to watch a PSU game this season. Seven games in the Beav, one in Ohio Stadium.

Radio
ESPN Radio will broadcast the Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi nationally with Dave Barnett and Rod Gilmore to call the action from the booth and Erin Andrews on the sidelines.

But Ms. Andrews is working the sidelines for ESPN Radio which means that she won’t actually apepar on TV. Rather, it’s Lisa Salters who is doing the sideline reporting for TV.

A friend looked this up a few days ago, and since 2006 the Rose Bowl has determined the home team by the higher “BSC” ranking.

I was hoping we’d get to wear our blues, so that Carroll would give up a couple times out again just so they could wear their home jerseys too. In any case, our uniforms will still look better than those of the University of Spoiled Children, especially when we win!

Uniforms

One of the (many stupid) things I heard the announcers say during the UCLA-USC game was that he liked seeing both teams wearing the home uniforms because these 2 teams have some of the nicest uniforms in college football.

I’m no fashion expert, but I never thought there was anything special about either of these teams uniforms. Now the penn State whites, on the other hand…
I’m glad we’re wearing them in the Rose Bowl.

I did think both USC and UCLA have classy uniforms, so do we for that matter. Reletive to Oregon, everything is classy.

Oregon was doing ok, I think

until the whole “wings” thing. I obviously like the old school look, but I can appreciate new school you don’t get too ridiculous.

Uniform matchups

I like matchups in which both teams have classic uniforms. It’s honestly one reason (of many) I like college football much better than the NFL. I’d rather us where the blue, but this is a pretty good one. Probably the best uni matchup in the BCS, followed by Texas-Ohio State. Florida-Oklahoma will be good so long as Florida doesn’t wear the all blues.

Worst…uniforms….ever.

Need proof? Look at Penn State’s road performance…abysmal.

Would give up the 2 timeouts in a heartbeat to be able to wear the blues.

I've been conditioned to think this way also.

I want to.........

jump through the radio and strangle a broadcaster everytime I hear them rough up Kerry Collins. The dude won in High School, College, and then with an expansion team in the NFL, The Giants, and now the Titans. The dude throws one of the prettiest balls in the history of the game. I am not saying he is a Hall of Famer, but he’s a very very good QB. Better than Weinke, Ward, Grossman, Wuerfffel, Dorsey (insert any other FSU, Miami, UF QB in the last 15 years that was supposed to be the 2nd coming of Christ Almight).
