Penn State Needs Your Vote

The Rivalry, Esq. is hosting a 2008 FBS Fantasy Playoff.

The top-eight teams in the country have been selected to participate in a three-round playoff on location at each of the Bowl Championship Series sites.  The teams have been seeded by virtue of rank.

Up first is the East Division, Round 1: Oklahoma v. Penn State.

You'll have 48 hours to vote on the matchup.  At the conclusion of that period, the polling will close, and we'll declare a winner who will move on to play for the East Division Final.

The Nittany Lions need your help.  You can vote here.

Good Luck!

I would love to see this game.

Oklahoma is one of the 2 teams that I think PSU might have problems with but the homer in me didn’t see a “too close to call button” so I voted PSU.

really?

I actually think Penn State would beat Oklahoma by the third widest margin (Texas Tech being the 2nd widest, and Utah the most).

I think in order of toughness for Penn State would be:
Florida
USC
Texas
Alabama
Oklahoma
Texas Tech
Utah (I actually have no idea as I haven’t watched a single game of theirs)

though I might actually switch Oklahoma and Alabama

not sure if we’d have a harder time against the offensive team with no defense, or the defensive team with no offense.

Utah is vastly overated

I watched part of the Michigan game which they barely won, and I watched the whole OrSt-Utah game in which OrSt was up by 2 scores with 2 minutes left and gave the game away and lost in overtime. Utah will be Mutilated by Bama, not as bad as the raping Ugga gave the rainbows last year, but still pretty bad.

Looks like we are in the early lead...

….D-Will must have taken the opening kickoff to the house!

Interesting...

Do the Big XII fans not generally use the fine resources of SB Nation? Or the interweb for that matter?

There is a tractor in the parking lot, West Virginia license EIEIO. Your lights are on.

Right now

Some Big 12 fan is furiously fanning a smoke signal that says “BIG 12 IS TEH AWESOME”.
