Big Ten Basketball Power Rankings

It was another crazy week for Big Ten Basketball. Illinois pulled off a shocker against Minnesota and laid an egg against Penn State. The Wolverines are on a three game winning streak. I'll say that again, the Wolverines are on a three game winning streak. In basketball. One over those wins was over Iowa who continues to keep everyone guessing. Here is the power poll for this week.

6	Minnesota 15-9 (5-7)	6	L – 60-84 Illinois L – 56-65 @Wisconsin	Again I would like to drop them, but then who do I move up?

8	Iowa 11-15 (4-9)	7	L – 52-60 Michigan	The Hawkeyes only seem to show up for the big games.
9	Penn State 12-12 (4-8)	8	W – 52-51 Illinois	Now we’re even for the football thing.
10	Illinois 11-15 (3-10)	11	W – 84-60 @Minnesota L - 51-52 @PSU	The win against Minnesota moves them up. The loss to Penn State limits it one spot.
11	Northwestern 7-16 (0-12)	10	L – 47-65 OSU L – 56-71 Purdue	It’s back to the bottom where they rightfully belong.

If we can pull off a winning record

it is possible that we go to the newly formed College Basketball Invitational, so that gives a better shot at a tournament. I just found out about this thing so I figured I would share.
