I usually do not get carried away when a young kid makes a big deal out of his signing day. I was there myself at one point, and while it IS exciting it better not be the high point of your career. I remember what Joe Thomas (top offensive tackle taken last year FYI) said last year about not being in New York for the draft, "I am more worried about what I do after the draft, I do not want that to be my biggest day in the league". Unfortunatly I do not think Tyrell Pryor is of that same school. He has a media fire swirling around him and he seems to only stoke the flames by comments like "I am 80-90% sure I am going to make a decision at the press conference" (paraphrase).
At this point I don't even know if we are going to get that great of a player. He is going to have a HUGE target on his back. He has been flirting heavily with Ohio State, and Michigan. Heck the RamRod phone call after he quit WV speaks volumes to extent to which he is in bed with Michigan. And if he spurns those two schools to go to PSU he is going to be public enemy number 1 each and everytime they play those two schools. The fans will be pissed, the coaches will be pissed, and the pressure will be immense.
Sadly the kid did it himself. He promoted this whole circus by acting like the middle school slut. Good luck to you when the party is over and you have to live with the mess Tyrell.
