Pitt Fodder

I know we've had a lot of discussion in the past month or so about whether or not we should play Pitt. Theres a pretty good split between people who think we should, and those who think we shouldn't.

Fortunately, we can all unite behind our dislike for Pitt, and their pea-brained fans. This evening, a Pitt fan shot the following article at me to prove that Pitt was better than Penn State. I laughed, and I thought many of you would, too.

So instead of talking about Joe's contract situation, and the thugs that currently run rampant on our team, lets talk about what an idiot this fella is!

If they're going to count Antonio Bryant, I mean damn.

Maybe we don't have anyone as great as Larry Fitz, but I'd say Engram and Jurevicius combined are just as good. Not sure how he got "Advamtage Pitt" outta that.

How do you not include an Hall of Famer? This guy is an idiot. It was obvious he did no research when he said things like "I can't think of..."

I mean what's his point anyway? He fully admits Penn State has had more success as a college football program. So he grasps at straws because of NFL sucess. In fact, things like this actually make Pitt look worse. If they have all these great NFL players, why have they not been a more successful college program than us?

They some something stupid and drag you into an argument to disprove it. Win, lose or draw, you are the worse for participating.

This article is more than two years old, and judging by the overall quality of it, read by about six people since it was posted. Now it gets posted here, and we can debate the relative merits of a totally flawed argument. Whatever.

If Pitt fans actually believed half the shit they said they would be much happier people.
