5 Captains for 2008!

This is great. D-Wheels and Scirrotto are the new ones!

"Five seniors will serve as Penn State football captains this season, including injured standout linebacker Sean Lee.

Lee will be an honorary captain in 2008 as he recovers from a right knee injury suffered during spring practice. He expects to return to the field in 2009.

Anthony Scirrotto was elected a defensive captain along with defensive end Josh Gaines. The offensive captains are center A.Q. Shipley and receiver Derrick Williams."

Also..."Five players were suspended from spring practice due to various off-field concerns. While their availability during the regular season remains unclear, the team said in a brief statement that the players were now permitted to work out with the team in the weight room and training facilities."

I was hoping

Butler or Norwood would be captains this year. Going from walk-ons to working out to be good receivers. I really made me like Butler was last year when he had to answer for the AM antics after the UM game and said your captain shouldn't be doing that stuff. Otherwise, I like all this years captains
