I remember this game like it was yesterday. Growing up in northern PA, the town was half PSU fans and half Notre Lame fans. The next day at school, all the Irish fans were complaining about how PSU intentionally injured Rocket Ismael to win the game. I didn’t care. It was a high that would never be matched for me until my senior year of high school when PSU went undefeated.

After Fayak made the Field Goal Fran Fisher yelled, “It was a piece of cake!”
