Great Open Article on Rivals.com

I'm psyched to see Maurice Evans (and the rest of the d-line) tear it up, I met the kid outside Canyon Pizza a year or two back one saturday night... he's a beast. I think this line is clearly going to be our best asset on defense this year. That and Anthony Scirrotto. What are everyones thoughts/concerns on the rest of the defense?

But I am actually not too worried about Sean Lee sitting out the season with our line and the depth we have we will be a great defense one way or the other. I think we will be pleasantly surprised with our “back up” linebackers.

the best thing about that article was coming to this realization:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Alford

“Jason Jamaal Alford (born May 28, 1983 in Orange, New Jersey) is a professional American football player, playing defensive tackle for the New York Giants in the National Football League. He was selected from Penn State in the 2007 NFL Draft in the 3rd round (81st overall).

[edit] New York Giants

His young career with the Giants is best known for a devastating sack of Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLII. With less than one minute remaining in the game and the New England Patriots down 17-14 with possession of the ball, Alford sacked Brady resulting in a 3rd and 20 situation. The Giants went on to shock the previously undefeated Patriots 17-14 in one of the greatest upsets in Super Bowl history.”

That was my favorite part of the whole SB XLII. I am so stoked to find out a Nittany Lion was the one who put that hit on brady!
