Where to watch Pens/Flyers

Lucky for me I'm headed to State College for a bachelor party this weekend, and I'll get to watch the Pens/Flyers game right in the middle of the rivalry.

Does anyone have a recomendation for where to watch the game?  Sports Cafe would have definitely been my go-to location, but last I heard, it's been closed indefinitely...and I don't really know which other bars in downtown have good tvs, etc.

thanks.

Pickles Tap Room
I went there for a Pens vs. Rangers game and they have all six tv's turned to the game with the sound on.  Plus a lot of Pens fans show up...haven't been there for a Flyers game so I couldn't tell you how many go there for the game.  Get there early though, because tables fill up quick.

closed for financial reasons I think.
Here's a link to a Collegian article about it.

Wherever you end up going, make sure they get Versus because that's the channel the game is on.  Not everyone does.

DAMONS
Damons isn't a bad place!

Yes it is...
Damons was founded in Columbus, Ohio (note their colors). Ohio State had/has a deal that they only stay at Hampton Inns.  Where is the Damons in State College? In the parking lot of the Hampton Inn.

Never, ever, go to Damons.

actually, i have a feeling some of that is false
i have no idea about where damons was founded, but i'm pretty sure osu doesn't have an exclusive deal with Hampton Inn's.  My cousin plays on the football team there (well more like, warms the bench) and he told me they stayed at the Ramada Inn this past year.  Plus, if you go look at video of joe pa at the 2005 osu pep rally, he even says something like, "i hope the cockroaches don't get to ohio st. over at the ramada tonight". perhaps Ramadas are owned by the same people as hamptons?

had...
...could be past tense.

Founded in 1979, Damon's International, Inc., is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

The Hampton Inn in State College was built just in time for Penn State's entry into the the Big Ten, as was Damons.

Well
You can only get so worked up about a half assed Damons boycott. So don't stress.

ROTELLI'S

Rotelli’s, on East Calder Way, is the place you want to go for Pens games. It’s been the unofficial congregating area for all Pens fans here for the last two seasons, as the owner is a huge Pens fan.

The Deli

In case anyone cares to know, we ended up going to the Deli. We checked out Rotellis, which definitely was black and gold throughout, but landed at the Deli, which allowed us to eat, watch the game, and heckle Flyers fans all at the same time.

Incidentally, I also heard rumors about Lavar buying Sports Cafe.
