Schedule dilemma
A guy I know has season tickets and said I can buy tickets for the games he can't attend. Those games are Temple and Indiana. My dilemma: if I can't do both, which game to choose? I'm taking my 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter and want to show them the whole Penn State experience - tailgating, creamery ice cream, the shrine, etc. Both teams are cupcakes and the games will probably start at noon. The only difference I can see is the weather: mid-September in Happy Valley is (usually) much nicer than mid-November.
So I ask you, the wise and all-knowing readers of BSD, which game to choose?

Pick...
Temple. I remember last year, and how at first I thought I was witnessing PSU falling asleep at the wheel and almost losing. So this game could very well be slightly entertaining. Plus, I imagine because it is early in the season, there will be a nice turnout.

That's funny, 'cause I don't play hockey, I play HORSE on the mic and watch them all copy-Cannibal Ox

well
its a big ten matchup or a matchup with better weather and probably better weather to tailgate/drive/watch the game in.
and probably be able to harass a bunch of philly jerks ( j/k ) in the process.

well...
like its been said, temple is earlier in the season, will have nicer weather, and could either be a 330 (go downtown etc beforehand) or 12 noon (go downtown after the game)... on the other hand indiana is a conference game in november (experience all that is bigten football) and they might not be as big of a pushover as one things. good luck in your choice, either will be a great time for a first timer

Definitely Temple
1. Both the Temple and the IU games last year were entertaining and had a bit of drama
2. The weather will much nicer for the Temple game
3. Excitement is brewing down at Temple and that may bring a few more Temple fans to HV due to proximity. IU fans don’t travel well for football. They barely show up for their home games!

I believe
Bill Cosby would disagree with you. I think he is the biggest Temple fan in the world.
