Ticket Advice - Temple - PSU - 9/20
A bunch of buddies and I will be travelling to the Temple game on 9/20. What is your advice for scoring the best priced tickets for this game? I have always had tickets prior to a game, so this will be the first time I get them while I'm there. When, where and how is the best way to go about this? We are OK not sitting all together, although it would be nice.
Thanks, everyone!

Drive to Beaver Stadium
Park your car
Walk up to the stadium, ignore all scalpers.
Hit the main drag. Hold up the number of fingers indicating the necessary number of tickets.
Wait 30 seconds.
Offer $10 each.
Enjoy the game.

$10 bucks each...
You’ve got to be kidding me… that’s ridiculous. You can get Temple tickets for $5 bucks each…
No, actually I’ve been feeling that every home ticket is very valuable this season being that there is the potential of this being the last season for JoePa…
I’ve already laid the ground work with my wife to make the trip to Happy Valley for all home games this year, rather than just the 4 I’ve made the past 5 years…
the only game I tried getting scalped tickets was OSU about 8 years ago when we were both in top 10.
That did not go well, but if you guys are serious about 10$ tickets I will see you there for Temple. I have always obtained tickets before hand, my brother gets 6 per year and is always willing to sell them FACE VALUE for the mundane games.
Boom goes the dynamite.
What I didn't say
is that after you park your car it may be a twenty minute walk (if you hustle) to the stadium where the $10 tickets are available. During that time you are not relaxing, drinking, eating, playing cornhole, throwing the football around, convincing yourself that Penn State is going to win the national title, etc. It’s worth a few extra bucks (to me at least) to have my tickets in hand before my trip.
When your scouting for those seats however, you should keep in mind that there will be no shortage of tickets available on game day for well below face value. But, if your plan is to drink at Hooters until an hour before kick off and roll into the stadium just in time to see the band, you’ll hit the ticket market at just the right time.

Not sure if you're joking
but I suspect by “main drag” he means the road that runs between Beaver Stadium and the Jordan Center right behind the south endzone.

curtin road
most likely. that’s the street mike is talking about where they block it off to cars and people can walk up and down.
maybe...
wait for the game to start…I know I’ve had family wait until after kickoff and get them pretty cheap…however you’re missing some of the action, plus $10 a ticket is a great price as is.
If you wait for the game to start
or even for the band to start, you may be able to get tickets for free

Thanks
Thanks for the help. We’ll get there a bit early and try our luck on the main drag. $10 sounds great!
