"107,000 Screaming JoePa's"
"What if..."
Picture this: last regular scheduled game of the season & last home game (of a Great Season); Joe's decision is still unclear as to whether he'll be back on the sidelines after the Bowl Game...
Sooo, what to do...what to do! GOT IT!
Similar to White Out: "107,000 Screaming JoePa's..."
The factory better start manufacturing the rubber costume heads now!
Everybody has a standard blue oxford in their closet; kaki pants (roll'em up!), and a navy blue tie...
Can you imagine the game coverage...the panning views...unreal...never matched!

More than 107K
I think that if people really thought it was Joe’s last game at Beaver Stadium there would be a lot more than 107,000 people.

Agreed...
...no doubt (just needed a nice round # for the post!)...
Allow me to revise…”117,000 Screamin’ JoePa’s”...
This way the isle seating, the concoarse & parts of the parking lot can be accounted for!

I don't think that will be possible but
maybe we can get everyone to wear a JoePaesque outfit to the MSU game?

However it is accomplished...
to honor him “inunison” is clutch!

What is the largest crowd ever....
...for a regular season college football game (not just PSU but every school)?
I think PSU/MSU could set the record.

well it depends....
on how “official” you want to get. Officially the 2003 Michigan- ohio state game holds the all time NCAA record at 112,118. However, before the NCAA started to really record attendance, it is estimated that crowds at Soldier Field for USC vs Notre Lame reached over 120,000 attendees.
The top beaver stadium attendance is 110,753 for the 2002 Nebraska game. I think it would be really tough to grab another 2,000 from somewhere.

It's going to be hard to wear khaki's and a sports coat and tie
to the MSU game this year when it’s 4 degrees before windchill and -38 with the windchill. However, the JoePa masks are a great idea for two reasons:
1. To honor JoePa in what I believe will be his last game at Beaver Stadium.
2. It’ll keep you warm.

How 'bout...LOL...
...the Nittany Lion as well…
When he comes out…he’s wearing the JoePa mask as well!
...then, of course, he takes it off, hands it to JoePa himself…hugs the old guy…and well, it’s still the Nittany Lion!

Maybe the lion...
could also wear a jacket and tie. He needs to class up his act anyway.

Great Point…that would just add to the overall atmosphere that day!
