Black Shoe Diaries Signs Rival Two-Star Blogger
Don't knock the two stars, by the way. Tom Lemming was going to let me start in the U.S. Army All-Star Game if I committed to Rakes Of Mallow.
Nice to be here.

Is it true?
Has RUTS really been signed? This could be a big score for the program, 2stars be damned! My cousin used to write for the yearbook at Bayside high, and he says this RUTS kid can really write.
What’s the arrangement; will RUTS be making front page posts?

2 Stars...
To be fair, he is the 98th ranked d-bag in this class. That’s a pretty good ranking considering DB’s are plentiful.

Plus
BSD has been a little light at the Douchebag position this season….

Good Stuff
Although you’ve just made me lazier now that I don’t have to click on the RUTS link.

So is RUTS dead?
Or is it going to be your political soapbox from this point forward because there is no WAY a conservative like Mike is going to let you get all political over here.

Not dead, just changing
More here, which was supposed to be posted at the same time as this BSD post an hour ago, but apparently RUTS has been running on Central time:

2 stars
We don’t need no stinkin 2 stars.. Mike, if you don’t get on recruiting 5 stars like Chris Bell who will really take a knife to this place, i’m leaving….
(Can I really say that and get away with it??) ;) Good to see you to joining forces like the ambigously gay duo…or something like that!

If...
If BSD was the Big 10 blog with only Mike, what do these two signings make it? Are we talking dynasty here?

signing RUTS
is the equivalent of taking Iceland in Risk: The Game Of World Domination.
I was more like Peru.

Speaking of recruiting...
Mike, can you pass some of your recruiting tips on to the PSU football staff? You never know, it may aid them in pulling in some offensive playmakers.

Ruts
You will be great to have here, all my blogging needs in one convenient bite sized pouch. I hope you maintain your irreverent traditions here on BSD, there is nothing I like better than a post about driving while awesome.
Boom goes the dynamite.

If RUTS is soda popinski...
is Mike, Tyson? Kevin has Von Kaiser written all over him.
Seriously; thanks to you guys for consolidating. Saw today that ESPN announced their plan to take over the blog world. I might have to start avoiding altogether the worldwide leader.com as a result.

The Big 10 Blog
It’s acutally not that bad. I haven’t read any of the others. There are worse things that the alphabet soup network has done.

Agreed.
The Big 10 blog has been pretty informative so far and appears to be updated pretty consistently. tWWL has been behind the times in offering any type of a blog and their widespread blog release is just an attempt to drive viewership to their site.

The big ten blog...
has been informative.
But they fired Whitlock from criticizing another employee, remember that. Now, I read political blogs on the washingtonpost and nytimes everyday, but, the essence of blogs is that they’re community-not corporately-driven.
A blog is-ideally-a place that criticizes the mainstream media and offers a different, more geniune perspective. Hard to do that on espn.com.

Well...
a blog can be about anything. It’s just that the independent bloggers can operate without restrictions (so to speak) and truly speak their mind….and their readers/commentators appreciate that. tWWL can/will never rule the blogosphere as it does tv airwaves.

I'm fairly certain
That Mike is Piston Honda. I don’t know why.
by Run Up The Score on Jul 24, 2008 4:03 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I can go with that...
as long as it’s second piston honda. Kevin might actually be macho man.

so...
I’m guessing BSD HD upgraded its broadcasting abilities from 720p to 1080p. I’ll have to go upgrade my monitor.

Great graphic, RUTS
Utterly fantastic, loved all the bio info! I’m also looking forward to fulfilling all my PSU sports blog reading with one click. Keep up the good work, everyone!
