Shake Up!

With all the chatter in the news over the past several years regarding the staff once Joe moves on.  Let's have some fun with this and see what everyone thinks.  For my money I think Tom Bradley will slide in the HC position.  I wonder then if LJSR might take over for him on the DC side - he sure has developed some beasts on the DLine and he is also a recruiting beast.  I would then think that Hall will most likely leave too - I think he's near 70 if he isn't there yet (total speculation).  I then wonder if someone from the staff would slide into that role - NOT Jay.  Maybe McQuery?  Who knows - I also wonder what Jay's role will be once Joe hangs it up.  Thoughts? Guesses?

Michael Robinson

Abruptly retires from the NFL and becomes QB coach for Penn State with Big Red becoming OC. JayPa is still on the staff, but like Isiah Thomas with the Knicks, has no direct reports and has no contact with any of the players.

Mike Rob shows the QBs how to run the Spread HD properly and Penn State wins the National Title during 2010.

OC...

Out of our top 3 offensive coaches, the only one with potential is Big Red. I don’t know any non-PSU young offensive minds out there, so I can’t speculate if we’d bring anyone in. Anybody know of any coaches with PSU ties that we’d be looking at once (hopefully) Jay Pa and Hall are gone?

Major Applewhite

is the young OC that everyone thinks is going to take off soon. He helped Rice show some respectability 2 years ago.

Major isn't leaving Texas

Not unless he’s offered an HC job at a BCS school. Until that time, he’s staying put. The rumor around Austin is he’s being groomed as Macks replacement.

Major

went wild that one year, but the whole state of Texas loved Simms too much to let him sit, even though Major was 3 times better

I'll take this opportunity to say.....

You have to first win a playoff game in order to reach the Super Bowl.

:-)

Patiently waiting for the return of Penn State Football

3rd place in the NFC does not equal Superbowl Champs.....

Dude…...the Giants and Birds will both finish above the Cowboys this year…....come back into reality. How long do you think it will be before Owens or Pacman or both cause the Cowboys to impload! Anyway get your mind right…..PSU FOOTBALL comes first! So where in SECland are you trapped? Eric and myself get the pleasure of seeing the Dawgs on the cover of the AJC every other day.

I thought only safeties played 15 yards off the ball?

A few things...

1. Owens and Pacman will not impload
2. Birds missed there window about 4 years ago
3. Giants r good and their run last year was unbelievable (2005 Steeler-esque) but the cowboys own the nfc now and it’s gonna be that way for a while
4. i’m in grad school at Middle Tennessee State for sport management so get to experience all kinds of SEC bs mostly from UT fans which is awful

Booooo

I hate all of you – I just wanted to have a fun PSU talk and it’s all quickly degenerated into a shitty ass Cowboys discussion. Cowboys are balls – that’s the bottom line – Steelers #1.. Har har har..
