I watched most of the game, he ran well…and actually broke that one away after a DB coulddn’t wrap him up.

He did have a solid game, but I wouldn’t expect him to see serious PT unless people are hurt or he is doing something in practice we don’t know about. He’s about 3-4 on the depth chart and last year he averaged about 1.3 yards a carry or something.
That said, I love Tony Hunt and hope he breaks out and catches on.

He had almost 30 yards in the drive which was capped off by a TD by the WR. During that drive Tony caught a short, low pass with 1 hand while in mid-stride (nice!). After the TD he immediately ran down the field on special teams and made a great open-field tackle as the first guy to the ball, hitting the Carolina guy behind the 20. Following the Carolina drive Tony again had some nice carries followed by his big TD.

If you put a guy in and he runs for 80 yards, a TD, has a 1 handed catch, and a great tackle on special teams — I would hope his stock rises. After that game I have no doubt Tony will make the team and get some carries this season.
