2007 Outback Bowl

What a game for the safeties. Tony Davis with the TD, Scirrotto with some of the best tackles to win a game.

I don’t think I will ever forget seeing the hit Scirrotto made on Jayson Swain in that game. It looks good on film, but what they don’t give justice to is the sound that hit made from the stands. It was like a gunshot. I remember an older Penn Stater behind me in the stands saying, “What a hit. You hate to see a kid get hurt like that, but what a hit.”

Let’s hope he can finally put his troubles behind him and reclaim that same fire he had in 2006.

the Outback Bowl hit

DawsonPSU10, I remember the hit from the Outback Bowl, although my comment was more like “Holy S**T! Did you hear that?” rather than “that poor Tennessee guy.” Then again, I was raised as an Auburn fan and live in Alabama, so I enjoy seeing Tennessee get their asses whooped anytime (although not more than Alabama). I can’t wait for Saturday, but I also am counting down until September 11, 2010. I hear reservations are already being taken at Tuscaloosa hotels.
